Our range of Dredging / Quarry pumps are specifically designed for handling sand, gravel and heavy abrasive slurries. These centrifugal pumps with closed impellers are robustly constructed using carefully selected materials and unique contour components which offers excellent abrasion resistance.
We have self-priming diesel engine pumps, flooded suction electric motor driven, fully submersible electric or hydraulic units available. The submersible pumps feature agitators mounted externally, driven directly from the pump shaft to assist the suspension of solids.
All our units are sold fully checked, serviced and tested along with being re-painted MF red with other colours available upon request but may be at extra cost.

Draghe Lario PD200 complete with 230mm suction and 207mm delivery branches.
The pump can pass a 125mm maximum solid size in suspension with maximum delivery flow of 640m3/hr giving an approximate solid delivery of 110m3/hr.
The pump is long coupled to a diesel engine complete with throttle.
Is ideal for mounting in a dredging vessel below the water line or we can add an automatic priming equipment at extra cost.
The unit is available fully serviced and tested prior to sale. In addition we can supply a bulk fuel tank at additional cost.

We have one SH8-75 hydraulic pump available with a SHE30 hydraulic excavator cutter as a complete frame assembly with purchase price from £25,500. The pump only sales price would be £15,000 with lead time of approx 6-8 working weeks.
The SH8-75T pump can be supplied with either an 8”/DN200 or 6”/DN150 flanged discharge connections. On the pump / cutter assembly would be a hydraulic flow diverter valve with 1.1/4” hydraulic flow inlet and outlet connections along with a ¾” hydraulic flow return to free air.
With the SHE30 it offers excellent solids pumping capabilities by up to 60% by weight providing the required total hydraulic flow of 180l/m at 250bar pressure.

SHE 30 – Hydraulic excavator cutter attachment for Hydraulic dredging pumps.
This unit further aids the cutting and suspension of hard solids before entering the main pump. Running at a maximum 50rpm it is the perfect option when having to dredge very thick or hardened slurries.
Tsurumi Pumps
3 year warranty on all new Tsurumi submersible pumps
Tsurumi have expanded on their agitator series of pumps which now includes the KTD, NKZ3 and GPN range to complement the existing KTV2 and KRS2 pumps.
All pumps have an impeller and agitator constructed from hard chromium iron along with a hard faced (silicon carbide-silicon carbide) double mechanical seal running in an oil chamber for positive seal lubrication in any position. All heavy duty motors have internal overloads fitted allowing for direct connection to a power supply and are supplied with at least 20m of heavy duty rubber power cable.
Depending on the pump selected this range is suitable for pumping sand, bentonite and pulverised solids in suspension with a free passage size ranging from 10mm - 30mm
With lower overall weight and kW along with Tsurumi’s 3 year manufacturer’s warranty these offer an excellent solution if you find the DP series is too large for your application.

Stuart Group are proud to announce our involvement in a large scale dredging project in France by combining its two largest divisions, Stuart Power and Stuart Pumps. We have supplied a new FG Wilson 100kVA generator and a new dredging pump to our client here in the UK (JET PUMPS LTD).
The pump and generator were then shipped to France where they have been mounted onto a suction dredger and will be put into use within the next few weeks.
The generator is enclosed in a sound attenuated canopy and will provide a reliable power supply to the dredger and pumps.
The dredge pump will handle slurries, sand, gravel and other large solids with ease. The Jetty Ring, with stainless steel nozzles, is mounted on the base of the pump and helps liquidise the silts. These are powered by a high pressure Tsurumi pump.
