Warehouse Operative - Shropham


Stuart Group Ltd has been specialising in the power, pump and geotechnical material industry for over 40 years.

There is no limit to the size of the order we have to deal with, ranging from a simple jiffy bag size to full 40ft shipping containers. Due to sustained growth, we have a position available within our stores team.

Duties will include, but not limited to, assembly of water pipes, receiving goods into the stores, picking and packing products for dispatch, data entry of stock, stock taking for maintaining product levels.

The successful candidate must demonstrate:

  • Engineering stores experience

HR Administrator - Shropham

Role:

  • Working closely with the Directors you will provide confidential administrative support on all HR matters. You will also have responsibility for payroll administration using Sage 50 Payroll.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly Payroll (using Sage 50 Payroll) and all associated administrative work (checking timesheets, setting up new starters and processing leavers,).
  • Online banking for payroll.
  • Management of all HR practices, policies and procedures within the Company.
  • Preparing and maintaining all employment documentation and confidential personnel records – preparing starter employment documents (Statement of Terms, Staff Handbook), ensuring correct forms completed and necessary documentation on file including Right to Work checks.
  • Recruitment and Selection - Working with Senior Management and Line Managers to prepare recruitment advertisements, short-listing candidates for interview, arranging interviews, preparing offers of employment.
  • Staff induction – arranging health and safety induction.
  • Absence Management (holiday and sickness) – processing forms and maintaining absence diary.
  • Performance management – probationary period reviews, staff appraisals (working with Senior Management and Line Managers).
  • Any other duties commensurate with the position as required.

Essential skills/experience:

  • Payroll experience (knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll would be an advantage).
  • Experience of working in am HR environment – minimum 1 year.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with others on all levels.
  • Excellent computer skills (good knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Administration Assistant - Shropham


Due to business growth, we are actively seeking to expand our sales team with an Administration Assistant.

The suitable applicant should be used to working in a Mechanical / Electrical Engineering environment and we are interested in hearing from applicants, but while not limited to, that are already working in a similar office-based environment or role.

The suitable applicant will be punctual, have a methodical approach and be capable of working to deadlines.

Knowledge or experience working with diesel driven power generators and the associated systems i.e. Fuel storage, fuel transfer systems, exhaust and ventilation systems and electrical cabling installation will be advantageous.

Task specific training and support will be given in order for the successful candidate to carry out the role as expected.

Working hours are 08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Generator Sales Manager your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Assisting the Sales Manager with providing estimates, quotations and tender bids to customer requirements including provision of supporting documentation.
  • Use of CAD software to review and amend technical drawings.
  • Procurement and allocation of materials to Engineering team on and off site.
  • Processing orders, invoicing and applications for payment using Sage software (training provided).

  • Fabricating.

  • Stripping & re-building pumps.

  • Driver’s CPC Qualification Card.
