The Stuart Group Ltd is one of the UK's largest distributors for one of the worlds biggest diesel generator manufacturers' FG Wilson (Engineering) Ltd. The Stuart Group was established in 1982 and has expanded to become one of the largest privately owned independent power generation rental businesses in the UK. We offer a bespoke service in design, installation and after-care of new, used and rental generators ranging from 10 KVA to 2500 KVA, as well as a large range of water Pumping and Well Service products.

We currently have a vacancy for an IT Assistant to join our team.
As a direct report to our IT & Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will have a keen interest in IT applications and a willingness to learn under guidance.
The role will be largely administrative and will involve supporting other areas of the business as and when required.

Essential skills to fulfil our criteria will include a methodical approach and the ability to troubleshoot, IT literate (Outlook, Microsoft Office). 

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a keen eye for detail coupled with a “can do” attitude are paramount.

Additionally, candidates able to demonstrate Photoshop knowledge, basic HTML & CSS, understanding of website building and Ebay shop administration would be particularly suitable, however, the ability to absorb and apply new information is of equal importance.

This is a salaried position and the hours of work are a basic 40 per week, Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.00, flexibility is required on occasion in order to meet the needs of the business.

Salary is negotiable according to ability and would be discussed at interview.

Dewatering Site Operative - Shropham

Stuart Well Services Limited are looking to recruit a site operative to install, maintain and operate dewatering systems on civil engineering sites. This is a full-time, permanent position, working for principal contractors throughout the UK, and will involve working away from home for periods.

Skills Required

Knowledge of dewatering, pumps and generators, together with any related experience would be of major benefit to this role. This position involves outside work on construction sites, and therefore a person with limited specific experience, but comfortable with site working would also be considered. A good nature, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential, as is a CSCS card, which is a prerequisite for this position.

Skills Required

Due to sustained growth we have an exciting opportunity within our company for a HGV driver.This role involves equipment checks, delivery driving, loading/unloading of lorries and general yard duties fulfilling our excellent service standards and high expectations. This position is full time and flexibility in respect of working hours is expected.

  • HGV1 licence is essential.
  • ADR licence would be beneficial.
  • Good time management, ability to organise and prioritise work.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Attention to detail.


Someone with experience of operating a lorry mounted HIAB crane previous experience within a similar role but this is not essential as training will be provided.
