PA to the Managing Director & Financial Director HR Administrator

This continually expanding company is looking for a competent, highly motivated and experienced personal assistant to support the Managing and Financial Directors. This challenging and rewarding role is pivotal in the effective running of the company.

Your role will include confidential secretarial and administrative duties and all Human Resource matters./p>

To be considered for this position you must have PA and HR experience, be confident and have the ability to work accurately under pressure with a flexible approach to the working day. You will be competent with Word/Excel/Outlook. You will be working closely with the Finance director, so excellent numeracy skills are essential and some knowledge of Payroll would be desirable. However for the right candidate training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be able to obtain all relevant information from inquiries to enable them to provide accurate quotation’s using our price lists and quotation templates.

DESIRABLE SKILLS or EXPERIENCE in: CIPD – CPP Qualified and Sage 50 Payroll.

Salary for this role will be commensurate with relevant skills and experience. We offer a pension scheme and private healthcare scheme after a qualifying period.

Skills Required

The position is primarily Shropham based; however, some travel may be required, when necessary, for service, maintenance and emergency breakdown calls throughout the UK. As we provide to the Service Industry, some early starts and late finishes may occur from time to time together with occasional overnight stays when undertaking project works; you will also be required to be on our call-out rota.

Generator Sales Engineer - Shropham, Norfolk

Stuart Group Ltd, the UK's largest distributor for the world's biggest diesel generator manufacturer, FG Wilson (Engineering) Ltd, is recruiting for an experienced Generator Sales Engineer to join our Power Sales Division team to assist in the day to day running of our busy Generator Sales Department at our head office in Shropham, Norfolk. We offer a service of design and installation of new generators ranging from 10-2500kVA. Stuart Group was established in 1982 and has expanded to become one of the largest privately owned independent power generation rental businesses in the UK. Reporting directly to the Power Sales Division Manager you will assist the Power Sales Division team in all aspects of the day to day work of the generator sales department to help maintain, develop and deliver our generator projects within budget and on time. The role is primarily office based; however, some travel is required to attend meetings and visit sites for which a vehicle will be provided. We are looking for applicants ideally from an engineering (electrical/mechanical) background with knowledge of diesel generators. You will possess excellent computer skills (Autocad would be an advantage), a good telephone manner, excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You must also be a team player with the ability to interact with others on all levels and use own initiative. Duties will include dealing with generator enquiries, taking sales calls, maintaining relationships with our existing customers and potential new customers, extracting and using data, producing spreadsheets, preparing proposals/ tenders for enquiries received, generator sizing, preparing quotations (using in-house computer programme), reading and understanding technical specifications and drawings, programming project installation requirements and associated cost implications to suit clients’ needs, processing paperwork, keeping accurate records (attention to detail essential), liaison with other power sales team members, engineers, installation team, customers and suppliers and any other duties commensurate with the position as required by Stuart Group Ltd.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 08.30 to 17.30

Due to a new contract award, we are now looking for a keen individual to join our busy Hire Desk team at our Head Office in Attleborough, Shropham, Norfolk. You must have plant hire experience, ideally with some knowledge of fleet & logistics management. Additionally, you will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
