It has been through the rigorous testing procedures devised by UK Network Rail and is now fully approved for use on the UK rail network.

A complete erection time from positioning to full working in less than 30 seconds completely outstrips any other lighting tower currently available.

Working on a cost basis of £46.20 per hour and the hire of ten VT1's - a contractor could save themselves as much as £1,120 per contract. The power generation capability of a VT1 means that there could be increased income of £4,960 for a 30-week utilisation period. Finally the TowerLight financial personnel have calculated an extra saving in maintenance costs of up to £635 - one movement erection will result in less ropes to change - lower chances of bulb breakage - all will give the owner savings in costs.
