What's so special?

The SafeGen™ is an easy up-fit achieved by 2 men in 20 minutes, which then provides protection of the generator from theft, vandalism and unauthorised access. The bunded fuel tank of 2000 litres offers an extended running period in excess of 7days for most models of generators. SafeGen™ accepts the majority of generators up to 88 kVA (Standby)*.

Safe and Secure.

With 4 lockable door bars and a heavy duty lock box this product symbolizes security. Adjustable cable exits with securing pins and cable clamps add further defence to an already secure product. Though just when you thought we could do no more, the product has its fill and vent pipes fitted with a heavy duty grill to prevent theft of your fuel.

Easy to use.

Although security is seen as the primary function, usability is a close second. The container base fork lift pockets ensure movement and placement of units, empty or loaded, are straight forward. The interior has a removable platform fitted with fork lift pockets, meaning placement of the generator into the container becomes much easier.

The Process.

When using a fork lift, the driver can elevate the removable platform off the fuel tank. The platform is then drawn away from the container allowing the generator to be placed with ease. When the generator is secure, within the clamping points and rear locating plate, the platform is raised and placed back into the SafeGen™. Once the generator is secure the adjustable exhaust hood is then lowered. The doors are then locked, securing the generator.

Bunded Fuel Tank.

The 2000 litre bunded fuel tank has an extended running period in excess of 7 days for most models of generators. The fuel tank incorporates a simple fuel fill plate. The plate comes with a fill point, fuel gauge and supply/return fittings. In addition to the fill plate, the vent isolation valve prevents any vacuum process occurring within the fuel tank. Fuel Gauge.

The Fuel Gauge is mounted on top of the fuel fill plate, vertically placed inside the fuel tank. As the liquid level changes, the float follows that change and uses a mechanical coupling to transfer that motion from the float to the level indicator dial. The Fuel Gauge is completely sealed so there is no risk of the tank contents leaking through the gauge header.
